New Music Themed items

Just put these and a few others in the two shops that sell my work. Wilmington is a very musical town and items I have made previously using my sheet music screenprinting have gone over very well. I enjoy making them too!

They're lovely! And I've noticed they're all slightly different as well. Do you use more than one screen print?

Thank you---I mostly use one screen, but I am making several others. For the cones, I make the cones-- first, then silkscreen underglaze onto newsprint. (note, the screen has to be made in reverse when you use transfer methods), when underglaze is dry on the newsprint, I spritz the back evenly with water, let sit a bit until I can see the underglaze rehydrating --gets black again, then I can flip it onto the cones and burnish. The advantage of transferring the print, I can cut out pieces of the screened newspaper in shapes that can easily fit where I want them, i.e., on the inside of the cones. Also, I can select different print which makes it look like I am using more than one screen.

Ahh I see! Very clever, and very economical! Thanks for sharing.
